Cancer Ribbon Butterfly

by Glenna Garcia on March 3, 2011

While just about all tattoos have a meaning or a story behind them, they sometimes can run a bit more into a permanent statement that is purposefully obvious.  Like this cleverly created cancer ribbon butterfly.  When a traumatic event touches us and we survive, we usually feel a need to answer back with out own affirmation that we are better for the event having come into our lives.  A statement that says,  in the end, we came out victorious.  This is one such statement.  Clean, crisp and simple – this is a great way to pay homage to the battle people fight with cancer.  Love the combination of the cancer ribbon and the butterfly, which is a universal symbol of transformation and new life.
