Check out this sleeve made to look like muscle tissue. With about 40 hours of work, this artist has shown their knowledge of the underlying muscle pattern and brought it out into the light. Using mostly red and black, the layers of muscle are crisp and capture the look well. Edging up onto the shoulder, the muscle pattern gets darker and ends where the next set of tissue would need to begin. Farther out onto the forearm and ending at the wrist, the muscle tissue is lighter red due to the thinner density of the muscle. This is a fascinating alternative to more traditional sleeve tattoo design choices.
