Fine Line Lettering

by Glenna Garcia on November 20, 2010

This is a great example of how a purchased design can be rendered on the skin.  In this case, the design was done by Denise A Wells and then executed by a tattoo artist.  Always ask to see examples of an artist’s fine line work before going for a tattoo such as this.  Here, the use of shading with color really helps to make the design stand out.  Decidedly feminine, these initials “MTZ” are accented with blue filler and shading, green leaves, red roses, pink hearts and one yellow dragonfly.  It is a simple design, yet very unique and reflects the individual.  This is an interesting option to more traditional scroll lettering.
