Saint George Dragon Tattoo

This tattoo was done by Red Dog Tattoo in Spain, it is of Saint George fighting off the Dragon. It has amazing detail, and only the shield is in colour. The history of Saint Geroge stembs back to the late 200′s, and he was, according to tradition, a Roman soldier and priest in the guard of Diecletian. He is one of the most venerated saints in the Catholic, Anglican, Eastern Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox churches. So this tattoo really has a deep meaning and history behind it, which makes it so special.

You can look up “Red Dog Tattoo” in Spain and see if they have a contact form…you may be able to ask about buying a copy of the drawing. Glad you liked it!
