A REALLY COOL Phoenix back tattoo! I love the charismatic detail put into the feathers of the bird, makes it real to the eye and more lifelike. I also admire the way the Phoenix is posed in a sort of pre-landing position. The Phoenix’s face is very serious as it gazes downward, with its talons sharp and clenched. The Phoenix is a great symbol of rebirth because it always dies in flames but returns from the ashes anew. Besides being somewhat immortal, they are just as beautiful of birds, usually being a red-orange color or both red and orange. You can see a lot of effort put into this tattoo because of its size and placement. Being a very big tattoo with one main object puts more focus into it, even though there is a background (with what looks like might be the moon in the top left with wavy clouds below it). The feathers on the Phoenix are just amazing, especially the bottom one that has a peacock feather look to it.
