Dia de los Muertos – Body Tattoo

by Glenna Garcia on December 16, 2011

Here is a tattoo themed on “Dia de los Muertos” (aka ‘The Day of the Dead’). The look of the texture of these roses, around the woman, look as if they were actually painted! They are beautifully done along the side of this girl’s body. The woman has the same painted quality about her, especially in her hair and dress. I also like the darker shades of red, orange, pink, and green. They all add to the overall look of the tattoo. When you look at the tattoo laying on her body it doesn’t pop out at you, but is still significantly noticeable and matches the girls skin tone well. Understated, yes, but not boring!

One of the best tattoos I think I have ever seen. It would have been very easy to make this a very loud tattoo, but instead it’s very calm, collected and beautiful.
