Woman’s Portrait

by Glenna Garcia on September 16, 2011

I almost don’t even know what to say about Jun Cha’s work.  He is an unbelievable artist and has a scope of work at his websites…including some incredible photos of his own.  This portrait is incredible.  Her hair has an interesting dimension…with shading and layout that creates part of the framing for the entire piece.  Her face is done perfectly, the eyes are especially soulful and alive.  Most tattoos struggle when it comes to replicating the often delicate nature of the hand.  Her hand here is perfectly done – balanced shading and great depth perception.  Everything is so even and i love the placement on the arm.  Again…it’s perfect.
