Here is another slickly detailed design by Stephen Hate of Old School Tattoo in Willingham, WA. This warrior skeleton is sporting quite a nice helmet (or is it a face piece that he has lifted up?). Made to look like a hawk or eagle face…it stares out with fierce eyes. The skull itself is really crisply detailed, and he appears to be shouting or in the middle of calling out a command. Great black and gray work – with nice shading on the helmet, as well as the whole face of the skull. The artist, Stephen, did a good job of giving the skull personality and helping it to seem as animated as possible for a skull to really be.
